Doctors’ Team Leads Pioneering Specialty Healthcare Firm

For Immediate Release (Sacramento, Calif., September 27, 2011) – Radiological Associates of Sacramento (RAS) announced today that Jonathan Breslau, MD, FACR, was selected as President and Chairman of the RAS Board of Directors.

Dr. Breslau joined RAS as a neuroradiologist in 1995. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s Medical School, he completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, followed by a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Dr. Breslau is the immediate past Chief of Medical Staff at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, and continues his involvement on the Medical Executive Committee at Sutter; he has also served as the President of the California Radiological Society and remains on their Executive Committee. Currently, Dr. Breslau sits on the Council Steering Committee of the American College of Radiology, which organizes radiology guidelines and policies at a national level. In 2010, Dr. Breslau was awarded a Fellowship in the American College of Radiology. He participates in health-related legislative activity in Sacramento and in Washington, DC.
