Interventional/ Neurointerventional Radiology Procedures
Interventional and neuroradiology is the growing area of minimally invasive procedures performed in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. RAS radiologists, nurses and staff are widely responsible for introducing and furthering these treatment options in our community for stroke victims, cancer patients, hemodialysis patients, individuals with arterial and venous disease, among others. As the list of treatable diseases and conditions continues to grow we continue to strive forward with our focus on innovation, increasing our service offering for you, our patients.

Subspecialty Trained Radiologists
RAS’ radiologists are well respected in the medical community for their specialized interpretations and advanced training in the areas of diagnostic radiology. Our physicians are nearly all subspecialty trained with extended fellowships in body imaging, neuroradiology, neurointerventional radiology, pediatric imaging, musculoskeletal imaging and breast imaging. Many, in fact, have Certificates of Added Qualification (CAQ), a mark of continued education and recognized area of expertise through examination and credentialing. Diagnostic Imaging Equipment
RAS prides itself on its long history in the community and for its pioneering spirit. In 1917 our founder introduced the first x-ray machine to the area and throughout it’s more than 95 years RAS has been responsible for bringing many new imaging technologies to the greater Sacramento region. Today we offer x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, mammography, breast MRI, breast biopsies, ultrasound, volume imaging ultrasound, DEXA and a host of other services on the most advanced equipment available to patients, with the lowest dose of radiation possible for the type of exam you need.
