Comprehensive Benefits
Radiological Associates of Sacramento (RAS) offers its employees a "cafeteria-style" benefits program, enabling each eligible employee to select from several programs. This flexibility allows you to tailor a personalized benefit program to your immediate and long-term needs. Each program includes medical, dental and vision coverage components, which we are required by law to furnish to you unless you can prove that you have comparable coverage through another source.
The benefits options are available to part-time as well as to full-time RAS employees. Coverage for most insurance benefits begins on the first day of the calendar month after you have completed 30 days of employment. This program encompasses:
  • a PPO Medical plan which includes prescription coverage
  • a dental plan
  • a vision plan
  • term life insurance
  • optional life insurance additional for you and your family
  • a long-term disability plan
  • an optional long-term care plan
  • an optional cancer care insurance program
  • a healthcare reimbursement account
  • a dependent care reimbursement account
In addition to and separate from the benefits program, RAS funds a generous 401(k) profit-sharing account for its employees. You also may choose to contribute to your own 401(k) program.
